How to recolor an image
Add your image

Pick the colour to change
Use the eyedropper and click that colour directly on the image.
Set the new colour and fine-tune
Choose "Change it to", then adjust Tolerance (how much of that colour to catch), Softness (blend the edges) and Saturation (how vivid) until it looks right.
Recolour more, or download
Click "Lock in & recolour another" to change a second colour — repeat for as many as you like ("Start over" resets). Then click Download PNG to save.
Frequently asked questions
- Can I change more than one colour?
- Yes — after adjusting one colour, click "Lock in & recolour another" and pick the next. You can stack as many colours as you like on the same image, and "Start over" returns to the original.
- Why won't black, white or grey change?
- Recolor shifts hue, so near-white, near-black and grey areas have no colour to change — they're deliberately left untouched (this also avoids halos). It works best on clearly-coloured objects.
- Will it look natural?
- Yes — only the colour changes; shading, highlights and shadows are kept. Use the Tolerance and Softness sliders to blend the edges cleanly.
- Are my images uploaded?
- No — recoloring runs entirely on your device (pure image maths, no AI, no upload). You always download a PNG.
