Frequently asked questions
- Will the folds and shadows still look real?
- Yes. Only the hue changes; each pixel keeps its original lightness, so creases, seams and shadows carry over into the new colour.
- Why did part of the background change too?
- The tool changes that colour everywhere in the picture. It works best when the clothing colour stands out from the background and skin — lower the tolerance if other areas are being caught.
- Does it work for very dark or white clothes?
- Black and white have almost no hue to shift, so they change very little. Mid-tone colours — reds, blues, greens, pastels — give the best results.
- Are my files uploaded to a server?
- No. Everything runs entirely in your browser — your files never leave your device.
