Frequently asked questions
- What makes a good main picture?
- A clear subject with strong contrast and simple colours — a face, a silhouette, a bold scene. Busy, low-contrast pictures are harder to recognise as a mosaic.
- How many tile photos do I need?
- At least 30–50, and the more varied their colours the better. Raise the colour match if the main picture is hard to make out.
- Can I print a big version?
- Standard PNG/JPG is free. High-resolution sizes up to poster prints, and PDF, are part of Pro.
- Are my files uploaded to a server?
- No. Everything runs entirely in your browser — your files never leave your device.
