Frequently asked questions
- Can I compress to an exact size?
- Yes — switch to Target and enter a size (or tap a chip). For small targets it may also reduce the pixel dimensions; if it can't reach the size cleanly, it gets as close as it can and tells you.
- Will it ever make my file bigger?
- No — if compressing wouldn't help, it keeps your original untouched and marks it "Already optimal".
- What formats can I output, and how many at once?
- Keep the original, or convert to WebP or JPEG (per file or all at once) — up to 10 images per batch on the free plan. Choosing JPEG flattens any transparency onto white.
- Are my images uploaded?
- No — everything runs in your browser; your images never leave your device.
